In the summer of 2012, I was invited to attend a symposium on fine art glass at the renowned Northlands glass studio, located in Lybster; a tiny village in northern Scotland. The trip was organized by Tad Bradley and was offered as a graduate elective class for architecture students. Over the course of two weeks we were able to have hands-on experience in learning the art of hot glass from many experienced artists, in one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.
